The doctoral program allows you to study subjects and carry out research work within one of the lines offered, following a distance learning program. Therefore, the PhD student carries out an advanced postgraduate study adapted to his pace and work style.

During the course of the program, the PhD student has the presence and support of teachers, tutors and counselors, whose objective is to accompany him and facilitate the academic fulfillment of the program, taking advantage of new technologies.

The PhD committee will assign and supervise the most appropriate study program for the previous training and the thesis topic chosen by the PhD student. Therefore, they appoints a supervisor who will support and facilitate the study the and thesis.

DURATION PURPOSE WORK PLAN
PHASE I, TEACHING
1 year Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to provide solutions that contribute to human, scientific and technological development in the line of research of the PhD student. Distance learning a series of disciplines defined according to previous studies to the thesis theme. At this stage, the PhD student must study subjects appropriate to the chosen theme for the thesis.
PHASE II, TUTORIES
3 months Guide and define the thesis theme, objectives, hypothesis and the methodology. With the support of a tutor, the PhD student elaborates the thesis scheme proposal
PHASE III, RESEARCH
1 year Prepare the thesis project. With the support of the advisor, conducts research activities that lead to the realization of the project.
PHASE IV, TESIS PERFORMANCE
1 – 2 years Writing of the thesis work. Under the supervision of the advisor, develops the research: analysis and results achieved.

 

Educational Methodology

The PhD student who completes the academic requirements and exceeds the defense of his doctoral thesis, according to the rules of the university that administers the program, can choose the degree of:

Doctor of Education from the World University Ecumenical (Florida-USA), indicating the line of research in which the thesis was carried out.
